Busy B's Professional Cleaning

Post-Construction Cleaning in Birch Run, MI

The saws are packed up and the dust is not. Brooke and her crew clear the mess a remodel, a refinish or a build leaves behind, in homes and offices around Birch Run, so you can walk into the space you paid for.

What does a post-construction clean cover?

After a remodel, a floor refinish or a new build, the work is finished but the space is not. Fine dust settles on shelves, sills and light fixtures. Debris and leftover materials sit in corners. Floors carry the evidence of every trip in and out. Cleaning it yourself can take days you would rather spend moving back in.

Our crew works through the space in order: dust and debris first, then surfaces and fixtures, then floors, then a final walkthrough. We work in homes and offices across Birch Run, Frankenmuth, Clio, Saginaw and Flint. If you are not sure whether your project needs this or a deep cleaning, ask when you request a quote and Brooke will help you sort it out.

How the clean unfolds

Four phases, one room at a time

Every space is different, so the details shift from job to job. This is the order the crew usually works in.

  1. Rough dust removal

We start with the heavy layer: loose debris, leftover materials and the dust that has settled on everything. Getting it out first keeps it from being spread around later.

  2. Detail clean of surfaces and fixtures

Next come the details: counters, baseboards, windowsills, light fixtures, vents, and the corners and nooks where construction dust likes to hide.

  3. Floors

With the surfaces done, the crew turns to the floors, whether hardwood, carpet or hard flooring, so the last pass cleans up after the rest.

  4. Final walkthrough

We look the space over once more, room by room, and touch up anything that caught our eye before we call it done.

For homes and for offices

Construction does not care what kind of building it happens in, and neither does the dust. We clean up after projects in both.

Homes

Kitchen and bath remodels, finished basements, new flooring, hardwood refinishing. We go after the dust on trim, fixtures and floors so you can put your furniture back.

  • Baseboards, vents and light fixtures
  • Bathrooms and kitchens
  • Hardwood, carpet and tile floors

Planning a wider refresh? Our deep cleaning covers the whole house.

Offices

Buildouts, repaints and reconfigured floor plans leave desks, shelves and waiting rooms dusty. The crew already cleans offices, dental operatories, cubicles and a lab, and knows how to work around the equipment and furniture a business depends on.

  • Reception areas, hallways and front desks
  • Desks, shelving and cubicles
  • Treatment rooms and other workspaces

For regular upkeep after the project, see our commercial cleaning. If the walls took the worst of it, ask about wall washing.

Post-construction cleaning questions

What does post-construction cleaning include?

It covers the mess a project leaves behind. The crew removes loose debris and construction dust, cleans surfaces, fixtures and windowsills, and finishes with the floors and a walkthrough. The exact list depends on your space and your project, so tell us what was done and we will plan around it when we quote.

How is a post-construction clean priced?

Pricing depends on the size of the space, how much dust and debris was left, and how many rooms and surfaces need attention. Because no two projects look alike, Brooke gives a quote based on your situation rather than a flat number. Send a text or call, tell us about the project, and you will receive a quote.

When should I schedule the clean?

Book once the contractors have finished and the bulk of the materials and large debris have been hauled out. A clean done too early only collects more dust. If a floor refinish or remodel is nearly done, reach out ahead of time and we can talk through a schedule that works around yours.

Which areas do you serve?

We are based in Birch Run, MI, and serve Genesee County and most of Saginaw County. That includes towns such as Birch Run, Frankenmuth, Clio, Saginaw and Flint. If you are not sure whether your address is in our area, send us a message and we will let you know whether we can help.

Do you clean both homes and offices after a project?

Yes. We clean up after remodels, refinishing and buildouts in homes and in offices. Our crew already works in offices, dental operatories and cubicle spaces, so commercial projects are familiar ground. For ongoing upkeep once the project is done, we also offer regular cleaning for both kinds of space.

Ready to move back into a clean space?

Send us a text, chat on the phone, then receive a quote. Tell us about your project and we will take it from there.
